Instructions
To make the syrup:
Heat water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves
Remove from heat and add the Thai basil leaves. Let steep for 15-20 minutes
Strain and let cool before using. Store in the fridge for up to a week
To make the cocktail:
Pour gin, lime juice, and Thai basil simple syrup into a cocktail shaker, and add ice
Shake well (cocktail cardio!) and strain into a chilled cocktail coupe
Amp this up further: muddle a few Thai basil leaves in the shaker first!
