The best holiday app: Garlic Crescent Baked Brie!
It’s a riff off of my garlic bread recipe, and it’s absolutely delicious. It’s garlicky, it’s buttery, it’s gooey and fab. Easy to make and easy to impress your guests with this holiday season.
INGREDIENTS:
Wheel of Brie
6 cloves of garlic minced and separated in half
5 tbsp butter, separated 1 tbsp and 4 tbsp
Italian seasoning
Black pepper
Kosher salt
1 can crescent rolls
Egg wash
Freshly grated parmesan
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
DIRECTIONS: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Using a sharp knife, score the top of the brie, then spread 1.5 tbsp butter, sprinkle 3 cloves of garlic +Italian seasonings, salat and pepper. Wrap the brie in the crescent roll. Baste the top and sides of the crescent with an egg wash (1 beaten egg + 1 tbsp water). Place in a baking dish then into the oven. Keep an eye on the brie and if necessary – place a piece of foil over to prevent burning. To make the garlic butter topping, melt the remainder of the butter. Then combine with the parm, remainder of the garlic, garlic powder, parsley and black pepper. When brie is golden and baked, take out of the oven and spread garlic butter mixture over the top. cut and serve immediately!
