I know that’s a bold statement, but it’s true. I went on a journey of a lifetime to find this perfect recipe, and I promise you – it’s the best one you’ll ever have. It’s also known as “the Dirty like the Cumberland” martini, because it is quite literally as dirty as… the Cumberland River…Murky, can’t see the bottom.. you get it. ? listen, this recipe is VERY specific. You have to use the exact brand / ingredients in the instructions or else it just isn’t the same. Trust me on this one!????
Ingredients:
3 ounces Belvedere
2.5 ounces Mezzetta Colossal Castelvetrano Brine + 3 olives
Splash of Dolin Vermouth
Artisanal Blue Cheese (my faves are Point Reyes Original Blue or Rogue River Creamy Oregon Blue)
Directions:
Place martini glass in the freezer. Hand stuff the blue cheese olives by using artisanal blue cheese and a splash of vodka. Mix together then pipe into olives. Rinse the glass with Dolin vermouth, discard the excess and place back into the freezer. In a cocktail shaker FULL of low quality ice, pour in 3 ounces vodka and 2-2.5 ounces olive brine, depending on how dirty you want it. Shake the cocktail shaker 50 times (martini cardio) and pour into the martini glass. Enjoy!
How do you order this at a bar?
Absolutely love this recipe. It has become my go to and everyone I make it for say it is the best dirty martini they’ve ever had!!
