RECIPE 5 of my THANKSGIVING MENU SERIES: HOLIDAY ELDERFLOWER FRENCH 75 ?
I’m sorry but if you don’t make this cocktail this season, you’re really missing out! It’s not only delish but with the rosemary simple syrup and elderflower liqueur, it is truly the holidays in a glass. I used the same simple syrup that we made in the Cran Bourbon cocktail, and it won’t be the last time I use it this season. I use it in everything. ? This can easily be made ahead of time and in a big batch, just hold the bubbles until time to serve. Recipe is down below!?
INGREDIENTS:
1.5 ounces gin
1 ounce elderflower liqueur
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce rosemary + cranberry simple syrup
sparkling wine
Frosted cranberries to garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Pour gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice and rosemary + cran simple syrup (Refer to Brown Sugar Cran Bourbon cocktail for the simple syrup recipe) into a shaker full of ice and shake well. Pour into a cocktail or wine glass, top with 3-4 ounces of sparkling wine. Garnish with frosted cranberries!
