Hot Honey Peach Margarita

Hot Honey Peach Margarita??

This ?? Recipe ?? is here juuuuust in time for the start of peach season. Here’s the thing- I’ve had some really good peach Margaritas in the past. But I’ve always wanted a bit of an extra kick, you know? So when I was developing this recipe, I decided to play with a few ingredients to see if they would add what I wanted it to, and they do! To make this cocktail, you need to make sure you have a couple of things right: REALLY GOOD PEACHES, peach bitters & hot/spicy honey. If you want to make this even spicier, add a few slices of jalapeños to the muddling step. The peach flavor really comes through, and the color of this cocktail is gorgeous. It’s delicious and I’m looking forward to hearing what you think about it!

Ingredients:
4 peach slices + an extra for garnish
2.5 ounces of reposado tequila
1.25 ounces fresh lime juice
1 ounce orange liquor like Cointreau (Triple Sec would also be fine)
2-3 dash of peach bitters
1.5 tsp spicy or hot honey
Sugar for rimming the glass
Sprig of mint or basil for garnish (optional)

Curious where you get your hot honey? New to your site (just found you in TikTok) so if you’ve posted elsewhere I’m sure I’ll find it!

Trader Joe’s has a great hot honey. Mikes is always good too.
