Oh. My. This might be my new favorite appetizer…or should I say meal since I ate the entire thing myself in one sitting? It’s crispy, it’s cheesy, it’s got the spicy honey kick at the end – on I’m getting carried away again.

I’m gonna stop with the small talk and just get to the recipe. Trust me, you need to make this.

Crispy Baked Boursin with Spicy Honey 🍯 Oh. My. This might be my new favorite appetizer…or should I say meal since I ate the entire thing myself in one sitting? It’s crispy, it’s cheesy, it’s got the spicy honey kick at the end – on I’m getting carried away again. 😂 I’m gonna stop with the small talk and just get to the recipe. Trust me, you need to make this. Ingredients: Boursin Cheese (I used garlic Herb but any flavor would work) Flour Panko Bread crumbs (you MUST use Panko in order to get the cheese crispy enough) 1 egg, beaten Salt & Pepper Spicy Honey Chopped Rosemary Directions: Preheat your oven to 410 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set out 3 bowls: fill one with a little flour, one with Panko that’s also been seasoned with salt & pepper and one with a beaten egg. Take your Boursin cheese out of the foil, and place into the flour making sure all sides are covered well. Dust off the excess, dip into the egg, and then dip into the Panko. Again- very important to cover all sides! Carefully place boursin on the baking sheet and place into the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy brown. If needed, broil for a minute or so to get the outside browned! Once out of the oven, drizzle with spicy honey and garnish with chopped rosemary. Enjoy with your favorite crackers! This is gonna be the hit of the party! #holiday #appetizer #cheese #fyp

  1. Shannon says:

How do you make the honey spicy?

  2. Julia says:

You can get spicy honey at Trader Joe’s… or Mike’s Hot Honey ( I bought it from Amazon)

  3. Debbie says:

This looks amazing! Anything with Boursin has got to be good!

  4. Jamie says:

Do you need to freeze the Boursin first? Won’t it melt away?

    • Chrisy says:

We made it and I thought the same thing; but no, don’t freeze it. It softens but keeps its shape. It’s amazing!!

  5. Cait says:

This looks incredible, cannot wait to try it. Weird question, any thoughts on what I can use in place of egg? My son is allergic and I hate telling him he can’t have something (he’s 2, and never met a cheese he didn’t like!)

  6. This was so easy and everyone loved it!! I took honey and a little red pepper flakes and simmered it. It was perfect! Thank you!

  7. Nanci says:

This was amazing and everyone loved it! I am making it again today!

  8. Gin Rolz says:

Can this be made in the air fryer?

Can I make this ahead and reheat? If so, what would be the best way to reheat?

My family loved this appetizer! I’ll be making it again, I’m sure!

  11. What are your cracker recommendations?

    • Erin says:

I served water crackers with the garlic and herb Boursin. It was a hit! I also found a Fig & Balsamic Boursin and served that with Artisan Crisps from Aldi.

  12. CJ says:

too bad no one answers these questions. I would of liked to know the answer to several of them before attempting this recipe for Thanksgiving.

  13. Sarah Woo says:

Made this two days ago for our tree trimming. Fabulous and so easy!! Thank you!

  15. Margie says:

Can I use gluten free panko for similar results? Also how long in air fryer?

  16. Tori M says:

Absolutely delicious! The two of us ate the entire thing in minutes. We will be making more as an appetizer for Christmas Eve. Followed the recipe exactly. Only needed 20 minutes in the oven and 1 minute under broiler. A must try!

  17. Sarah says:

Yummmmm!!! We made this for a pre Christmas Eve snack and loved it. So easy and delicious. Gotta do the hot honey with it!

  18. Gina says:

Do you have to flip the cheese so the bottom gets crispy??

  19. Lauren Durante says:

Can this be prepped ahead of time and then just baked day of the event?

  20. Paula keeney says:

THIS IS GOOD WITH HOT PEPPER JELLY ON TOP

  21. Gail says:

Had some folks that don’t like spicy so put plain honey on one cheese and spicy on the other. They loved the plain one!!!

  22. Naomi says:

I made this with gluten free Panko crumbs. It was delicious. However it did melt in way less than the 20 minutes.

  23. kris wilson says:

You are not kidding!! This was devoured in less than 5 minutes when served! So delicious. I am making it Mom’s day weekend. The honey really makes it super delish.
