Whipped Goat Cheese with Crispy Shallots + Prosciutto✨

Meet the sexiest, cheesy appetizer you’ll ever eat. It’s rich, creamy, decadent and full of flavor. The pan fried shallots and prosciutto gives the ultimate crunch, and takes the already beautiful whipped goat cheese up 10 notches.

This is a great appetizer idea if you’re entertaining, and it’s also just a great dip to eat by yourself on the couch with a baguette. Who’s judging? Not me.


8 oz honey chèvre

room temperature 4 oz cream cheese

2-3 medium garlic cloves

Peeled 1/2 of a medium lemon

Juiced (about 1 tbsp)

Pinch of salt + pepper

1/2 tsp hot honey

1 shallot

Minced 2-3 slices of prosciutto

Directions: Throw chèvre, cream cheese, lemon juice, honey, garlic, salt & pepper into a food processor and pulse until creamy + fluffy. Taste and adjust lemon juice if needed to your liking! Spread onto a plate using a spatula. In a skillet, add olive oil and pan fry prosciutto until crispy, then take prosciutto out of the pan. Add minced shallots to the pan and fry until crispy. Crumble the prosciutto back into the pan with the shallots and oil, then drizzle + spoon over the whipped goat cheese. Serve with a baguette or really great crackers. Try not to be addicted. 🙈
