Peach Simple Syrup✨?
So, you bought a bunch of peaches (like me), and they all ripened at the same time – and now you have a handful that are already on the way out? I’ve got you covered. There are a few things you can do with them, but one of my favorites is to make a Peach Simple Syrup. Why? Because you can make DELISH peach cocktails, sweet ice tea, desserts and more with it! ?✨ in fact I have a few recipes coming up this week that require it, so might as well try it. Easy and delicious. You know how we do it around here.
Directions:
Peel your overripe peaches and cut them up
Pour equal parts water and sugar into a small saucepan and set on the burner over high heat
Put the peaches in and stir until sugar is dissolved
Take off the heat and pour + strain into an airtight container. It will keep for a week in the fridge! If you plan on making a cocktail right after, hold on to the leftover peach pieces in the strainer… we’re going to muddle those for a cocktail. 😉 stay tuned! ?
