If you know, you definitely know—this Frozen Margarita with a Berry Red Wine Swirl is a nod to one of the most iconic drinks served at a beloved Mexican restaurant chain in the DFW area. The original recipe features a frozen margarita base with a bold sangria swirl. This version simplifies that concept by skipping traditional sangria prep and opting for a quick swirl that still delivers on deep flavor and vibrant presentation.
For this recipe, I used my Vitamix Blender (shop here).
Whether you miss your favorite Tex-Mex happy hour or want to impress friends with a seriously good cocktail, this Frozen Margarita with Berry Red Wine Swirl is fabulous! The balance of tart lime, smooth tequila, and jammy red wine makes it a year-round favorite, but it’s especially refreshing on a hot Nashville (or Texas) summer day.
