Summer Sandwich: Prosciutto Caesar Sandwich

Dinner, Lunch

Because sometimes… the perfect summer bite is salty, crunchy, and unapologetically packed with Caesar vibes. Welcome to your new sandwich crush: The Prosciutto Caesar Baguette. It’s equal parts deli-counter chic and backyard lunch magic — loaded with prosciutto, tossed Caesar salad, and the actual secret weapon? Parmesan Garlic Kettle Chips. Yep, we went there.

This recipe is part of our Summer Sandwich Series (have you tried my BLT with Chili Crisp Mayo sandwich?)— low-lift, high-flavor sandwiches that are here to rescue your lunch rut, make picnic baskets sexy again, and generally remind you that good bread + good cheese is a love language.

Prosciutto Caesar Sandwich

Print Recipe

Ingredients

  • French baguette
  • Prosciutto
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Caesar Salad Kit, lettuce, Caesar dressing, croutons, shaved Parmesan
  • Lemon Juice, 1-2 tbsp
  • Flaky Salt
  • Pepper
  • Freshly Grated Parm
  • Kettle Cooked Parmesan + Garlic Potato Chips

Method

  1. Split the baguette and spread a thin layer of Dijon on both sides
  2. In a bowl, toss the lettuce with half the Caesar dressing, crushed croutons, lemon juice, shaved Parmesan, flaky salt, and black pepper
  3. Layer prosciutto on the bottom half of the baguette, pile the dressed salad on top, then finish with extra grated Parmesan
  4. Add a handful of Parmesan + Garlic chips. Close it up, slice, and serve!

Oh Yeah

Did you make this?

I’d love to see what you created. Tag me on Instagram & TikTok @cheesegal from your kitchen.

Save this one for picnic spreads, lunch al desko, or those “I don’t feel like cooking” summer nights. The Prosciutto Caesar Baguette Sandwich is officially entering the easy dinner rotation.

Got extra Caesar salad? Toss it on the side or eat it straight from the mixing bowl. I’m not here to judge.

Enjoy!
