CREAMY LEMON + HERB GOAT CHEESE

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces herb goat cheese, or plain if that’s what you have, room temp
  • 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped (could use dried dill or could use whatever herbs you have on hand too)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp creme fraiche
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1 lemon – zested and half of it juiced
  • Flaky salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Salted pieces of tomatoes
  • Sliced cornichon
  • Lemon wedges

Method

  1. Mix goat cheese, dill, creme fraiche, lemon zest + juice, garlic powder, a pinch of flaky salt and a few grinds of pepper in a bowl until well combined
  2. Drizzle olive oil on top, sprinkle more flaky salt and pepper & any remaining chopped herbs
  3. Serve with salted tomatoes, cornichon, lemon wedges, and crackers & build your bite
  4. Pro tip: spread this on your next sandwich!

Oh Yeah

Did you make this?

I’d love to see what you created. Tag me on Instagram & TikTok @cheesegal from your kitchen.

More Ways to Customize Your Spread:

  • Make it extra herby – Add chives, parsley, thyme, or even basil.
  • Add some heat – A dash of red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot honey (my fave is Red Clay)is a game-changer.
  • Go nutty – A sprinkle of toasted pine nuts or crushed walnuts adds texture.
  • Switch up the citrus – Try lime or orange zest for a different twist.

This Creamy Lemon + Herb Goat Cheese is proof that simple ingredients can create something totally crave-worthy. Whether you’re hosting a get-together or just treating yourself, this is one recipe you’ll be making on repeat.

Enjoy!
